Silver & Tech teaches the everyday digital basics, so you can feel confident with technology and stay close to the people you love, in calm, simple steps. One idea per screen, big buttons, and a voice that reads everything aloud. Built by an 80-year-old who learned it all himself.
No menus to hunt through. The home screen asks one friendly question, what would you like to do?, and every answer is a short, patient lesson you can hear read aloud.
Spot fake texts, fake calls, and "act now" tricks before they cost you a thing.
Set up and use WhatsApp, Messenger, FaceTime, and Zoom to see the grandkids.
Find your shows and music on YouTube, and family photos on Instagram and Facebook.
Free up space, install updates, restart, and care for the battery, safely.
Type any word, like WiFi, app, or the cloud, and get a plain-language answer, read aloud.
A reassurance line that appears throughout the app. Nothing is hidden, everything is reversible, and a big Back and Home button sit on every screen.
The person behind it
Oscar Hernández doesn't want anyone his age left behind by technology. He believes that, with a little patience, every senior can stay current and close to their family: video calls, photos, messages, and more. With patience, and a lot of help from his son, he learned to use his phone, step by step, and then conquered other technology including VR and Artificial Intelligence.
Then he built Silver & Tech so other seniors could learn the same way: slowly, kindly, and in their own language. Every screen is the screen he wished he'd had.
"I'm not a tech person. That's exactly why this works."
Oscar Hernández, founderPay once and the whole app is yours: every lesson, both languages, all future updates. No subscriptions, no surprises. The way it should be.
